A Verse Appropriate for the Day

Been busy with work, lately, so I apologize for the sparsity of posts lately. Lots to say, but no time to say it! Hopefully, I'll be back to regular postings tonight.

Nevertheless, in keeping with my tradition of reciting this poem on the first snowfall, I present Ezra Pound's "Ancient Music":

Winter is icummen in,
Lhude sing Goddamm,
Raineth drop and staineth slop,
And how the wind doth ramm!
Sing: Goddamm.

Skiddeth bus and sloppeth us,
An ague hath my ham.
Freezeth river, turneth liver,
Damn you, sing: Goddamm.

Goddamm, Goddamm, 'tis why I am, Goddamm,
So 'gainst the winter's balm.
Sing goddamm, damm, sing Goddamm,
Sing goddamm, sing goddamm, DAMM.
