BREAKING NEWS: ELECTION COURT DECLARES FRANKEN THE WINNER!

The Minnesota election court just a few minutes ago handed down their unanimous decision: Al Franken is the winner (again!) of the 2008 Minnesota Senate election:
Over five months after the election, a three-judge panel has declared Democrat Al Franken the winner of the Minnesota U.S. Senate race.

The judges--Hennepin County's Denise Reilly, Pennington County's Kurt Marben and Stearns County's Elizabeth Hayden--issued their final ruling late Monday, stating "Franken received the highest number of lawfully cast ballots in the Nov. 4, 2008 general election."

They also determined that Franken is entitled to receive the certificate of election.

Congratulations, Senator Franken & Team Franken!!
